A Canadian Export company dealing in export of various industrial items such as instruments, machinery, Equipment, and Spare Parts for Oil & Gas industries.
This project included cost analysis and feasibility study, analyzing and designing the work flow and database tier, and managing all inquiries from receiving point (by fax or email) to the final point (Ordering, opening LC and Transportation) with more than 100 inquiries per day.
The major achievements of this system are decreasing response time for an inquiry from 12 hours to 4 hours, converting manager oriented loads in their legacy system to an employee oriented loads for 60% of the work flow, and possibility of accessing to their data from anywhere in the globe. Because of its uniqueness, this application influenced the company’s strategic approach.
